Six Signs Spring is for Health
Here is my countdown for 6 reasons Spring is the season for health:
#6 "Play Ball" Yes, one reason Spring is the season for health, is it marks the opening of the baseball season. Before you chuckle, we humans benefit when connected to a social group. Following a sports team gives us a sense of belonging to something other than ourselves.
Mid-career I discovered yoga as a practice to not only strengthen but lengthen my body. Today, a regular yoga practice continues to strengthen not just my body, but deepens a resolve allowing my heart and spirit to soar in further discovery for true well-being. As an emerging mature runner, yoga is center at my training on the trails.
